Named after a beer can opener, ChurchKey is crafty part of great idea. Located on 14th Street, ChurchKey is the bar to its sister restaurant, Birch and Barley. A roof deck is also being added. The renovated space will feature lots of brick and natural wood, exposed beer lines, three glassed-in keg rooms and a 14-seat chef's table that will look onto the kitchen.

    Visited this bar on my last visit to DC. The beer selection is phenomenal and the bar food is actually very creative and good. My only issue is the crowd. Get there by 4pm becuase by 5pm you can hardly find a place to stand. Any entrepeneur would understand this city needs more places like it. Servers are surprisingly very knowledgable!
