If you want one of the most traditional Oxford pubs around, then visit the Bird and Baby! Having been the drinking place of some of the English language's greatest writers, the world's greatest minds, and thousands of drunk students, everyone can find a place for themselves.

The beers are always well-tended with three or four real ales on tap, including at least one locally-brewed pint.

They do serve decent food, nothing special.

Finally, if you are just in tourist mode, they do have a plaque to commemorate the Inklings. It is in the 'main' room near the fireplace.
