Appearance- Hazy golden color with a fingers worth head. The head is white with a faint purple tint. Very little lacing.

    Smell- Wheat grain and raspberry.

Taste- Wheat malt with a tart raspberry flavor.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied and crisp. Nice amount of carbonation.

Overall- This is a good raspberry beer. Its not too sweet nor does it have an artificial flavor. Refreshing and very drinkable.

If I'm going to drink a fruit beer I prefer a raspberry wheat. As RW beers go, this one is good - nothing overwhelming (good or bad). It's one of the few "flavor pops" that I can drink more than one of and not regret.

I didn't like it myself. It just wasn't what I like. I tried it in gatlinburg tenn. They had a grocery store with there own 6 pack and a wall of single bottle beers and you could mix or match your 6 pack. I didn't like any of the beers I got.

I really did not think I would like this beer but it surprised me.

had a decent head and lacing.

Very light hint of fruit flavor as it was far from predominant or overwhelming.

Surpassing my expectations a crisp clean taste that I will recommend. Abita is becoming my favorite brewery.

I didn't enjoy the arbita purple haze. I usually like when fresh fruits are added but found flavors muttled and not refreshing. Color was spot on for what I expected but probably a one time try for me. Prefer dogfish black and blue for my berry fix.
