Commercial Description
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor.

“Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the flagship beer, the one that made Chico famous. It is a flawless beer that opens with bright, perky high notes of maltiness and orange blossom and segues into a delectable hoppiness.”

What hasn't been said about this modern American classic?! This beer is what opened the doors for me as far as micro/craft brews.

This beer is what happens when Americans are forced to drink light yellow reconstituted mule urine from the big 3 for too long. Keep it up Sierra!

A nice sharp taste...hops are not too strong. You can sense the malts in this one. I like the nice spicey-like finish. Nice deep brown color and great with pizza or spicey food.

A classic gateway IPA. Fair amount of hops in the nose and taste. Very sesssionable in my opinion. Try to get it fresh as possible by decoding the 365 day date code on the side.

Orangish/Amber color with a beautiful white, frothy head that was very dense with some large bubbles hanging around. The lacing was nice and the head dissipated to a nice ring. Saw some sediment working its way to the bottom of the glass, but otherwise mostly clear. Floral hops right off the bat. Smelled very nice, very prominent hops that were very clean and "springy" smelling. Getting a bit of fresh fruit in the nose. Peach or maybe pear. Also, got a hint of the sweet smelling malts. Taste is of slight fruity grapefruit. Nice bitter punch in the aftertaste. Really lingers on the palate. Medium/Thin mouthfeel that was crisp and smooth. Just a tad watery however. This is a very easily drinkable beer. I really like it. This brew is perfect for spring and summer. The smell is the prominent aspect of this beer in my opinion. I will definitely pick this up again.
