Commercial Description

A refreshing, pilsner-style lager. Its incredible smoothness comes from an extra-long lagering period. Lighter in body than our ales but just as complex in character,

12 oz. bottle into a pilsner glass. Best by 09/11/2015.
A: A gentle pour yields a small quickly settling head with nice lace patterns and prolific carbonation bubbles. Clear brassy gold color is very nice.
S: Light floral hops and sour baguette toast.
T: Balanced soft flavors of biscuit and sweet bread quickly followed by bitter hops. Short, dry finish. Very good. A bit of a vegetal note late but not off-putting.
M: Light but still full mouthfeel with lots of carbonation though not enough to be out of place for the style.
O: I’ve now rated both Summerfest and Nooner. I thought I was sure I preferred Nooner But now who knows. I like them both a lot.

Another entry into my personal BHoF! This brew pours a rich amber-gold colored body and sports a frothy/bubbly head which dissipates to a thin head with good retention and lacing. Scents of sweet malts and citrus-y fruits. Flavors of sweet malts and citrus-y fruits are absolutely amazing! The body is light, crisp, and dry which makes for an incredibly easy-drinking brew. When compared against other Czech lagers (whether imported or domestic) this one has them beat hands down! Definitely a brew to be enjoyed on hot Texas summer days; but also an excellent brew to enjoy year-round. luminous pale gold, very slight haze, and stark white head that retains a thin head for the duration of the pint. An excellent pairing with some grilled fish/seafood!

[Best served in a Lager Glass]

Poured a clear pale yellow in color with a nice frothy head that dissapated slowly. The aroma was that of grass and citrus. The flavor was mildly bitter with a nice hoppy aftertaste. The mouthfeel was creamy and refreshing. Overall a nice summer brew but nothing special. Would be good on a hot day!!

This is an amazing pilsner. Sierra Nevad has done it once again. This is a vey well balanced, crisp pilsner. They take the beer up a step by adding just enough hop to bring out the aroma, but not too much to leave the pilsner category. Excellent "lawnmower" beer!

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz into a Pilsener glass.

Appearance: The body has a golden yellow color with very good clarity and some nice visible carbonation. On top its head is bright white in color, slow fading and makes some nice lacing.

Smell: It has a light nose of pale clean malt with a spicy and floral hop character.

Taste/Mouth: The flavor is medium bodied, crisp and very clean. Dry crisp biscuity malt foams the base for the lightly spicy and floral hops. These hops give the beer a nice overall bitterness. The finish is sharp and dry with some bitterness hanging on. The texture is light and refreshing with active cleansing carbonation.

Notes: A solid beer from a solid brewery! “Everybody fest”:)
