Heavy blueberry aroma but little blueberry flavor. A little on the fizzy side and finishes slightly rough around the edges with bitterness but refreshes well.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. There is a best before the month of Oct. notched on the label.

Appearance: It has a pale yellow body with a slightly hazy appearance. The pour yields a tall bright white head that fades down to just a ring of bubbles. Lacing is slick and slides right down the glass.

Smell: The aroma has hits you with notes of blueberry as soon as the cap is popped off. Natural blueberry, grain and some mild spicy hops are all noticeable in the nose.

Taste/Mouth: The flavor is a copy of the aroma. There are light blueberry notes mixed into light pale grain and biscuit malt with a touch of spicy (peppery) hops. It finishes a little tangy and with some hops bitterness and spice. The palate has a light to medium body with some active, almost fizzy carbonation.

Notes: It has a decent blueberry flavor but it is just a little bit on the thin side. Still, its not bad at all and very refreshing.

Typically I am not a huge fan of fruit flavored beers, however, going to school in Worcester MA helped me learn to love this one. Refreshing and not too overwhelmingly blueberry. Good aroma and nice flavor with a very slightly hoppy finish. Best served with fresh wachusett blueberries.
