A very good beer similar in style to Bass Ale. Nice head with a clean copper color in the glass. A strong ale with clean tastes finishing with a hint of bitterness. Had it at the "The Pit" at the Tunnicliff Inn in Cooperstown, NY. Went well with my steak

This excellent German style beer has a very sweet malty aroma with a dark burgundy color. Served with a nice thin creamy head. Slight effervescene in the mouth leads to a nice creamy finish with caramel, toffee, and malt flavors. An excellent beer on tap at Sapsuckers in Huntington, NY

A very dark beer midnight in color with a dark head that disappears quickly. Coffee/bittersweet chocolate aroma on the nose. A medium body beer for a dark beer with chocolate and burnt coffee flavors. Had this on tap at Sapsucker's in Huntington, NY

A dark as midnight color with a small ivory head. A very light aroma of alcohol and malt. Strong flavored beer of dark chocolate. Slight bitterness aftertaste but not overwhelming. An excellent beer that went well with the black bean soup we had at Sapsuckers in Huntington, NY

An excellent every day drinking beer. 5.4% ABV doesn't hit you strongly. Goes with most any food. Nice golden color with a slight head. No bitterness at all and having a clean finish. Hint of sweetness on first taste.

An excellent drinking beer. With a strong chocolate aroma. Tastes of lightly sweet malts with a chocolate hint. The beer is not heavy like a stout but makes it a good beer for drinking during a football game like the Super Bowl.

A very good German beer with a very mild malt taste. Aroma with a slight raisin dark fruit aroma. A dry beer with a hint of sweetness. A good beer well worth the price of $7 at Moules et Frites in Syosset New York.

An excellent beer with a very pronounced banana aroma. Nice head with a cloudy dark amber color. Clean taste of dark fruits like raisin and prunes. Sweet taste makes this beer almost dessert quality.
