Definitely a very strange beer. It starts off with a very fruity flavor which quickly gives way to a bitter IPA flavor. Not quite what I was expecting, but it's really starting to grow on me.
I've heard this described as an Americanized version of Corona, which, as it turns out, is a really accurate description. It's a pretty excellent summer ale that is definitely best served cold.
Found this on a beer menu at The Stout Monk in Oakville, Ontario and ordered mostly because it had the highest alcohol content on the list. Not the best reason to select a beer, but it worked out pretty well for me. Leffe Blond is one of my favorites now.
