The aroma out of the pour is killer. Loved it. Nice appearance, nice lacing, a good looking beer. After the aroma from the pour, I fully expected the taste to be just what it was. A good solid beer, hoppy enough for my tastes and pleasantly easy to drink. One of my favorite IPAs.

I little to hoppy for my preference. While i do think Dogfish makes quality beer, I dont particularly like the bitterness that accompanies most IPA's. I must say that this particular IPA is pretty well balanced, unlike its hoppier brother 120-minute IPA.

I ordered the 60 Minute IPA on tap at Fat Bobs Smokehouse in Buffalo NY. It has a nice golden color with orange highlights and a small white head that makes great lace on the glass. The aroma is full of piney hops with some floral and citrus notes as well. Like the aroma the flavor is strait up hops over a lightly toasted malt base. It has a medium bodied palate with a slightly oily texture. The bitterness of the hops lingers long into the finish making this a grate beer for hop lovers.

It looks like a beer. Talks like a beer but as far as taste goes, why THIS is your flagship beer i will never know. This is the only beer that I have not been able to finish. I dumped out the beer just to get the nickel for the bottle and i am a beer enthusiast. To the brewers i say STOP BREWING THIS BEER!!
