A solid beer definitely not the super light stereotypical Mexican beer. If I’m going to drink a cerveza it’s going to be a Negra Modelo. In comparison to a good micro or home brew it doesn’t compete but a decent beer to grab while at your local Taquería.

Beer, Dark, Mexican, whats not to like. This is not your typical Corona etc. This is a good beer and pairs well with spicy foods.

This beer is fantastic to have with a slice of lime in it. The dark version of "Modelo Especial" this leaves a lingering feeling on the palate.

You can sip on this beer and feel a little filled up afterwards, which is not the normal reaction for most mexican brews. I would definitely recommend those who have tried Mexican beers to venture out and try this one as well.
