Anniversary Ale is an American-style IPA featuring Cascade hops, the signature hop used in our Pale Ale. The beer has a pronounced pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malts. The result is an unusually well-balanced IPA that proves an IPA can be both assertive and elegant. Anniversary Ale is a medium-bodied, well-hopped ale that finishes with a slight malt sweetness.

  [Best served in a Shaker]
  
  Poured amber-orange in color, slighty hazy with an off white frothy head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. The aroma was that of grainy malts, citrus (grapefruit) hops. It tasted a little bitter with a mild taste of of citrus, and a nice hoppy flavor which lasted a little while. Mouthfeel was smooth with medium body. Overall pretty tasty and worth a try.

  Poured into my pint glass the beer is a cloudy orange amber with a full inch of thick tan head. The head slowly falls into a chunky lace cap.
  
  The aroma is a rather sweet mix of pineapple, grapefruit, pine sap and loads of malt.
  
  The flavor mirrors the aroma rather close. More malt in the taste then the nose though. Very balanced keeping this from being a hop bomb. I pick out some spiciness and sweet fruits in the finish.
  
  Medium chewy body with moderate carbonation.
  
  Overall another nice IPA. Very drinkable.
