Declaration of accessibility

Information on the accessibility of the online shop beer-universe.com pursuant to Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and the national laws implementing it.

Our offer

beer-universe.com is an online shop of HAJUS AG for beer dispensing systems, beer coolers and accessories. You can search for items, browse categories and filters, read product information, add items to the shopping cart, order as a guest or with a customer account, and withdraw from a contract online using the withdrawal form.

How the shop works

• Navigation is via the menu at the top of the page, the search in the header and the links at the bottom of the page. The core functions can be operated with mouse, keyboard and touch.
• Product pages always have the same structure: images, price including VAT and shipping information, availability, description and technical data.
• Orders are placed in a one-page checkout: address, shipping method, payment method, review and order button.
• You can withdraw from a contract online using the withdrawal form and receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email.

How we meet the requirements

We follow the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, in particular: headings and a logical reading order; keyboard operation with visible focus; text that can be enlarged and a layout that adapts to screen width; labelled form fields and error messages; no automatically playing media and no flashing elements.

Known limitations

• Not all product images have a detailed text alternative; the essential information is always also available as text on the product page.
• Image galleries and sliders may be only partly usable with screen readers.
• Some colour contrasts and focus indicators do not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA everywhere.
• Embedded services of payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Klarna) are provided by them; we have only limited influence on their accessibility.
• Some manufacturer documents (e.g. PDF data sheets) may not be fully accessible. On request we will send you the information in an accessible format.

We review the shop regularly and remove barriers we find.
